Hello! I’m Janet Gomes, Chair of the Anglo-Indian Club (AIC).
In 2023, a vibrant group of Anglo-Indian individuals—both young and old—came together with a shared vision: to celebrate our unique culture and strengthen our community bonds. That vision gave rise to the Anglo-Indian Club, a progressive and inclusive social group that thrives on the diverse talents, commitment, and dedication of its members.
What makes our Club truly special is its intergenerational spirit. We're actively encouraging the younger generation to take part, ensuring that our rich Anglo-Indian heritage continues to flourish for years to come. Whether through cultural events, community outreach, or simply gathering to share stories, the AIC is a place where tradition meets the future.

Adrian stands at the helm of the Anglo-Indian Club as Joint Chairman, bringing with him a clear and passionate vision — to create a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking community hub that both celebrates our unique heritage and embraces the aspirations of a modern generation.
With Adrian’s leadership, the Club is not just a place to gather, but a space to connect — through music, dance, cuisine, history, and good old-fashioned storytelling. It is about honoring the past, while boldly building a future that welcomes all voices within the Anglo-Indian community.
What truly sets Adrian apart is his ability to bring balance to the group. He draws deeply on family values and traditions, using them as a foundation to shape the club into a meaningful and welcoming space.
His belief in community, togetherness, and shared success drives initiatives that encourage outreach and uplift those around us.

Montie Morgan
Deco / Art Coordinator
I actively contribute by organizing and supporting events that celebrate our identity, promote sports and the arts, and foster meaningful connections across generations. With strong organizational and planning skills, I take pride in delivering events that are not only well-executed but also leave a lasting impression. I have a talent for presenting programs with a sense of flair and creativity, ensuring each gathering reflects the spirit and vibrancy of our community. Giving back is at the heart of what I do—whether it’s encouraging youth participation, identifying and nurturing local talent, or helping create inclusive experiences that bring people together.
I believe the Anglo-Indian Club should help bring forth Talents in Various Fields: Identifying and supporting arears in sports, arts, academics, and leadership within the community.
Promotes Community Activities: Organizing engaging programs such as tournaments, cultural festivals, workshops, and outreach efforts that strengthen community ties.
Celebrates Heritage: Preserving and sharing our Anglo-Indian identity through events that reflect our unique history, values, and traditions.
The club should be a source of pride, growth, and unity for all generations.
Shane Wheeler
Entertainment Manager
We’re proud to introduce Shane Wheeler, our dynamic Entertainment Manager at the Anglo-Indian Club. With a strong background in music and years of experience hosting events, shows, dances, and community functions, Shane brings a wealth of talent and passion to the team.
Known for his ability to light up a room and get everyone on the dancefloor, Shane’s energy is infectious. His strength lies in connecting with people through music and entertainment, creating memorable moments that bring our community together.
Beyond the music, Shane has a heartfelt vision for the Club — to not only entertain but also uplift. He’s committed to using his role to support less fortunate families around the world, making a meaningful impact through the power of community and compassion.
We’re excited to have Shane on board and can’t wait to see what’s in store!
Rensley Pope
Head Of Youth Club
We’re delighted to introduce Rensley Pope, who leads the Youth Club at the Anglo-Indian Club with passion, energy, and a clear vision for the future.
Rensley plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of our community by actively involving our younger members in the journey of the club. From organising sports events, shows, trips, fun days, music nights, parties, BBQs and more — he ensures there’s always something exciting for the youth to look forward to.
At the heart of his work is a strong commitment to giving back. Rensley focuses on supporting young people through sponsorship opportunities, including music or instrument lessons, sports club fees, academic tuition, and access to performing arts schools.
His dedication ensures the spirit and culture of the Anglo-Indian community continue to thrive through its youth.
